New UI and better functionality

Well well well. It's me again... Lance!

So I've decided to bring the interface a little bit more to a more cartoonish John Carpenter Style, I think the game needs a bit more dynamic and I probally won't have the time to ship one of those high end AAA games some gamers are expecting. Still the game needs a certain style which won't be totally in the cartoon style but more in the b-horrormovie. I think the icons for the items will be changed a lot since the ones I used are not final. Still I think I know what kind of style I am heading to. Also I wan't to have the game run even on a browser so porting it to mobile and other systems won't be difficult.

Anyway... I think I will change the position of the staff of course, since it goes right up to the middle of the screen and I can't see where I'm shooting. I also added the functionality to have reloading bars at the GUI and have only a certain amount of energy per staff as well as each staff has a different reloading time before it can shoot again. Also you can change the weapons and let them reload while you shoot with another weapon. This actually works already, but you are going to see it next time, since I more and more disliked the old GUI the more I worked with it and I saw how much functionality I need to put into the design. I also made some sample icons for the different staff types in the game. So sorry... no video this time.

Today I tried to focus on the interface and its functionality. I will also add some other elements to the interface but I don't know if the player needs anything else.

Thanks for looking into my blog. I really appreaciate it.
You guys have a great day. :)
